Peri Urban Councils Victoria (PUCV) continues to gain increased recognition in the halls of Parliament following recent delegations to the State and Federal Government as we have focused our advocacy on our four key pillars:
Addressing the challenges managing the next wave of rapid urban growth in Australia;
Addressing the challenges of being both regional and urban communities which result in a lack of definition in policy and funding;
Planning to appropriately protect of viable agricultural land; and
Maintain the unique character of towns in peri urban communities.
The Federal Delegations to Parliament House met with:
